Lower Abyss Lockdown
Just a day after taking two fortresses in one raid, we took the last remaining lower abyss fortress. This time not only did it take under 7 minutes for the entire battle, WE WERE ABLE TO DISPLAY THE GUNDAM ON THIS FORTRESS.

Tonight we captured not one but two fortresses, and we did it in under 40 minutes, even with heavy defense from Asmodians.
The help of our allies was very much appreciated, especially Fortune and the Viet guilds.
Congrats everyone, keep up the good work!
Oh yeah, and grats to our other legion for putting the Gundam icon up on display on that artifact!
Gearing up with Preorder and Collector’s Edition Items
The benefits are many to be had if you have preordered Aion or are the owner of a rare and much coveted Limited Collector’s Edition. Notable among these is an array of in-game items you can give to your characters.
To assign them to your characters, please follow these instructions.
NOTE: You will need to follow these steps for each new character you create in order for it to receive the items. You will not be able to do this right now, but the feature will be enabled shortly.
1. Log into NCsoft Account Management.
2. Click the Game Accounts link.
3. Choose your Aion game account listed on the Game Accounts page.
4. Click the Apply In-Game Items link in the Actions section.
5. Select the server your preferred character is on and click the Next button.
6. Select the character you wish to receive the items and click the Next button.
7. You will then see a list of all the items or item packs that may be applied to that character. Click the checkbox next to the item pack(s) you wish to apply to that character and then click the Next button.
8. Review the confirmation page and then click the Apply the Items/Item Packs to this Character button.
You will then get a message saying that the items/item packs were successfully given to that character. You should have these items when you log into the game – simply pay a visit to your in-game mail box.
Remember: Server/Race selection
FiRe is rolling Elyos on Siel for the launch. Please select the correct server and race for preselect!
Pre Select – TODAY!!!
Remember preselect starts 3 pm EST and 12 PM PST. Reserve your names today.
Also, if you haven’t done so yet, confirm your class/name on the master list in the main forum.

For those who dont plan on getting the collectors edition or couldn’t get it, here’s a pretty good deal.
Reminder: Update
If you haven’t already done so, please update you NA Aion files to v1.5. This file is approximately 3GB, and it will take a while to download and install. Especially during peak hours when everybody is anxiously downloading the game.
So, download the game/updated the files early in the week, and be ready to play on September 6th.
For those that are having slow downloading issues from the laucnher. There are alternative sites.

Aion’s Open Beta, Pre-Select and Headstart Programs
Within the next four weeks, we will treat European and North American gamers to two opportunities to jump into the world of Aion and explore Atreia as Asmodian or Elyos characters ahead of its release in Europe on 25nd September and North America 22th September. Aion’s Open Beta Test featuring version 1.5 will take place 6-13th September and will include numerous Western enhancements, including improvements to Aion’s innovative character customization with a host of Western styles, as well as new zones, instances, skills, quests and continued game balancing and improvements. Open Beta will retain a level cap for both Elyos and Asmodians characters at 30 allowing players to focus on getting to the same level so they can explore the lands of Atreia together, as well as the Abyss.
Players who have pre-ordered Aion will be treated to a Pre-Select and a two-day Headstart period giving them the opportunity to explore, organize and progress through the game prior to the official launch. Pre-Select will take place on 18th September, while Aion’s Headstart will begin 20th September. Players can still participate in the Aion’s Pre-Select and Headstart programs by pre-ordering the game through several participating online and brick-and-mortar retailers.
